Hancock Bank of Gulfport, Mississippi looked to build its Waveland, Mississippi facility in record time after hurricane Katrina destroyed most of the city of Waveland. The 3,900 square foot brick and stucco facility features four lobby teller stations, a large walk-in vault including a coupon booth, 7 private offices, lunchroom, and five drive-up lanes. With its curved teller line, dramatic barrel vault lobby ceiling, and distinctive glass and stucco entry facade, the Hancock Bank building has become a community landmark.
